If I had to identify the course that was the most fun, EDD 7005 would receive the honor. The four media assignments and the final project were quite fun to produce, and at the same time, challenged my technical abilities. Beyond the opportunities offered by each assignment to challenge my media skills, I learned about some of the history of media used in instruction. As I mentioned in my course reflection, Richard Clark was quite influential on my thinking. I am pleased to have had to engage in discussions about media in instruction because it has caused me to refrain from jumping on the technology and media bandwagon. In other words, I have grown to know that flashy technology and media are not a solution to an educational need.
