This experience is one that has influenced me more than I could ever have imagined. Not only did I learn much about instructional technology and distance education, I also learned about myself, learned about my colleagues, learned about the organizations I am a part of, and met some wonderful people along the way. This time of my life will never be forgotten and has helped shape where my life will lead.

This portfolio has offered me the opportunity to reflect back on the four semesters of my Masters degree. While looking back through old assignments and discussion postings memories returned. Most memories caused moments of joy and humor, but some caused me to think about my career and how I have grown in this relatively short period of time. The intent of this portfolio is to illustrate my growth to all who choose to peruse through. To begin, I present to you my newly discovered statement of philosophy.

As you navigate around my portfolio you will find reflections for each course I completed as part of the degree. In addition to these reflections, all of my assignments are available on a second page for that course. Examples of my professional growth are found on the same page as the coursework. I hope you enjoy reviewing my journey as much as I have enjoyed completing it. As one final thought for this foreword, I would like to express my gratitude to the following individuals who have played a significant role in my development. Without the presence of these individuals my experience would have been much different, and although no one knows for certain, it may not have turned out so well.

Dr. CS, Debbie, Peggy, Sue, Rae, Alejandra, Dusti, Andy, and JSR
